In June 2021 Hard Rock Sacramento began construction on a $75 million expansion project to build Hard Rock Live (details), an indoor concert venue that opened June 3, 2022, and Rocktane Gas and Smoke (details), a fuel station with a drive-thru smoke shop and convenience store that opened Nov. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain celebrated its grand opening on October 30, 2019. It is 35 miles north of Sacramento and 10 miles south of Marysville. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is a $440 million Indian casino located in Yuba County a mile north of the Toyota Amphitheatre.
